Piping System | What is Pipe? The pipe may be in the shape of a hollow cylinder, plastic, concrete or more commonly used metal, for the purpose of use.
Pipe can be made from many materials according to purpose of use. The types of pipes are named according to the excess of the elements of the pipes used or the simplier expression. For example; plastic pipes such as polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP) are used in industrial works because they are chemically resistant. Since metal pipes are strong in terms of mechanical strength, they are used in jobs requiring durability and hardness. Concrete pipes are generally used for works that must be resistant to all types of impacts such as sewage and natural gas. And again, widely used plastic pipes are used in jobs in daily living areas.
What is Piping System?
English system known as “piping system”. In a pressurized environment, all kinds of fluids with liquid and gas are transported from one location to another. This transportation system consists of piping, pipe, tee, elbow and fitting equipments.
Where is the system used?
Piping systems can be used in many different areas. For example; irrigation systems, refinery / petroleum systems, chemical transfer lines, fire systems, heating or cooling systems and installation systems.
What are Piping Options?
Depending on the material used, the piping system has different types of piping as well as various options.
–Agricultural Piping System: This system is generally the most economical system.
–Loop Piping System: In this system, the water flow is divided and the pipes are connected to the system in two directions.
–Grid Piping System: This system is a system that connects at least two distributor pipes with many pipes. Grid piping is widely used in water distribution to rectangular and large areas.
